In my previous certification-related posts, I’ve described the limitations of the current Cisco’s certification system and the ways some employers use certifications to screen the job applications. By now, we probably all agree that an unfortunately large number of certification holders do not have the experience you look for in your future employees. So what can you do? The answer is simple … test them in a real-life lab setup (that’s what we do). We can also help you get there: you can use our standard remote labs or we can work with you to identify the critical skills you need in your network and design the test lab exercise around them. To get in touch with our training department, use the Training Request Form and make sure you write a short note in the Customized courses at the bottom of the form with a reference to this post.
