IP Event Dampening

The September IP Corner article, Increase the Stability of your Network, describes the IP Event Dampening, an IOS feature that allows you to disable a flapping interface that continuously disrupts your routing protocol. As always, I went a step beyond that and tested how you can use the Embedded Event Manager to track other network instabilities (for example, a failing OSPF neighbor) and react to them.
